managing and enabling compliance with the latest enacted privacy, security and business risk management requirements/standards/regulations.

Programs incorporate the latest available standards, policies, techniques and technologies. Mr. Doherty guides businesses towards implementing a robust Risk Management Framework that enables
businesses to secure their assets, address appropriate compliance requirements and conduct effective business governance practices.
Mr. Doherty is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) for enabling businesses to audit their information systems, define and identify policy and security gaps
in the controls required for the various federal and state regulatory compliances, and industry best practices necessary to protect the security and privacy of sensitive personal and business
information processed.
Mr. Doherty is a Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM) for enabling businesses to establish and implement effective risk management frameworks for
their information systems that implement effective enterprise risk governance programs that provide assurances for secure and compliant management of business information systems and supported processes.
Mr. Doherty is also a Certified Security Compliance Specialist (CSCS) for providing comprehensive security
and regulatory compliance services across government, financial, health care, and other verticals, including associated business partners and
third party service providers. Compliance services will mitigate risks and vulnerabilities as well as ensure compliance with international as well as U.S.
federal and state legislations and industry best practices.
Mr. Doherty is also certified in Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRCP/GRCA) for implementing and auditing effective GRC programs.
For the Government sector, Mr. Doherty and Vosity´s affiliated partners are certified
on the application of the NIST Cybersecurity Risk Management Framework for Information Systems for multiple MA state agencies.
To address the Healthcare sector, Mr. Doherty is also a Certified HIPPA Administrator (CHA)
and is up-to-date with the latest compliance requirements enacted for HIPPA/HITECH and the PSQIA healthcare initiatives.
Previous to Vosity Consultants LLC, Mr. Doherty founded Vosity LLC, and managed and operated a world-class network operations center that
provided the resource backbone for Vosity's hosted and managed SAAS, PAAS and IAAS hybrid-"cloud" services.
Prior to Vosity, Mr. Doherty founded ViaTech Technologies Inc. and operated a successful software
development business that provided custom, AGILE-based software development services for Ford Motor Company and
related software product suppliers. Aggressively, secured patents, raised private equity and expanded business
operations from initial concept through multiple successful product/service releases and sale of the business
profitable from inception and grew revenues 300% year-to-year during business expansion to new markets.
Mr. Doherty has over 25 years experience leading and managing the full-cycle development, and launch
of numerous application software product offerings, and service/support/QA programs for such companies
as Parametric Technology Corporation, Computervision and Prime Computer.
Mr. Doherty received an M.S. in Business Administration/Engineering Management, with a concentration in Computer and Information
Systems from Northeastern University.
Mr. Doherty graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science.
